EasedUp gives your AI assistant extra know-how, grounded in real, current sources instead of guesses. This page explains what that means in plain language and how to start using it. Most of it needs no coding and nothing to install, just copying a line or clicking a download.

The three building blocks

EasedUp is built from three kinds of files. You'll see all three described as you browse the site, so here's what each one does.

  • Skills are a set of instructions your AI assistant follows for one specific task, like drafting a document to a required standard or checking work against a set of rules. You don't run a skill yourself. You describe what you need in plain English, and your AI assistant reaches for the right one on its own.
  • Connectors are a live link between your AI assistant and a real system or reference source, so its answers are grounded in the actual content, not a guess from memory. Think of it as looking something up in a real record instead of trying to recall it.
  • Plugins are a ready-made bundle of skills and connectors picked for a role, like everything a specific job needs in one go. Installing a plugin is the fastest way to start.

All three are built on open, published formats, not anything proprietary to EasedUp. Skills follow the Agent Skills standard, connectors use the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and plugins follow the agent-plugins.org packaging format. Every file is plain text anyone can open and read, and none of it is locked to one company's AI.

Everything is organized by industry

EasedUp isn't one generic list. Skills, connectors, and plugins are grouped by industry, because a policy officer, a ward clinician, and a classroom teacher need very different things from an AI assistant. Today's industries are Education, Healthcare, Government & public sector, and Corporate & workplace, with more added as their catalogs grow. Switch between them from the dropdown next to any industry's name, or filter the Skills, Connectors, and Plugins pages down to one.

Education is the furthest along: it has its own marketplace repository and live connectors, on top of everything below. Healthcare, Government & public sector, and Corporate & workplace already have real, downloadable skills and ready-made plugin templates for common roles in that field. Their connectors and one-line marketplace command are still being built out, so for now, use the download path below instead.

The download way: works for every industry

Every industry's skills can be downloaded directly, whether or not that industry has a marketplace yet.

  • One skill. On the Skills page, each entry has a download button that packages that skill into a .skill file ready to add to your assistant. Every skill also has "Install in Claude" and "Install in ChatGPT" buttons, which open a new chat with your assistant already pointed at that skill's file, so you can try it in that conversation without downloading anything.
  • A bundle of skills. On the Plugins page, pick a ready-made template for a role and click "Configure & Download", or click "Create Plugin" to choose your own mix of skills and connectors. Either way, choose Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot Cowork and download a package built for that assistant.
  • A connector, on its own. On the Connectors page, copy the MCP endpoint address and paste it into your assistant's connector or MCP settings, if it supports adding one directly, or open its wiki link to read more about what it covers first.

Common questions

Do I need to know how to code? No. Everything happens in plain English, inside the same chat window you already use, or with a plain download button. There's no terminal and no installer to run.

Does it cost anything? No. This marketplace is free and open source. You just need an AI assistant that supports plugins, or one you can drop a downloaded skill or connector into.

Is any personal data involved? No. Skills are instructions your AI assistant reads, not something that collects data. Connectors pull from public content and systems. See the privacy policy for details.

Can I check what a skill or connector actually does first? Yes. Every one of them is a plain text file you can open and read, right down to the source repository link on its card. Nothing is hidden, that's the whole point of an open marketplace.

Do I have to install a whole plugin, or can I look at just one skill? No. Download a single skill from its own page, or build exactly the bundle you want with "Create Plugin" and skip anything you don't need.

How do I remove something I've installed? If you added it through /plugin marketplace add, type /plugin to open the plugin manager, find what you added, and remove it the same way you installed it. If you downloaded a skill or plugin package instead, just delete the folder or file you added to your assistant.

Do I have to use a particular AI assistant? No. Downloads are built for Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot Cowork today, and skills, connectors, and plugins all follow the open formats described above, so any assistant that supports those formats can use them even without a ready-made download.

Why does one industry look more complete than another? Education is EasedUp's flagship industry, with a full marketplace repository and live connectors. Healthcare, Government & public sector, and Corporate & workplace already have real skills and plugin templates you can download today; their connectors and one-line install command are still being built out. An industry with nothing published yet says so plainly rather than padding the page.
